Green Fashion: The New Black

Some people are very concerned about fashion and making a statement and the most recent rage now, from the White House to the Court house, is green fashion.

Going green in green clothing is not necessarily a simple undertaking.  Eco-friendly clothing has made a hit with top celebrities and has trickled down to those on the street who want to duplicate that celebrity look themselves.  As a result, designers are working themselves frazzled to design suitable clothing for everyone, to fit every budget!  Just walk into any eco-boutique and you will be in awe with the stock of green clothing that is displayed.  There’s so many choice of colors and fabrics from organic cotton to silk and linen to hemp—it’s a dizzying array of choices and the choices keep growing daily!   

 Pay special attention to the eco-friendly clothing lines in the eco-boutique and notice the vibrant colors that immediately catch the eye.  Just a few short years ago, the colors offered in sustainable fashion were often muted and bland.  With the evolution of new vegetable dying processes, color is only limited by imagination!  Because they are all-natural,  vegetable dye offers a hypo-allergenic solution to those who may be otherwise irritated by harsh chemicals and synthetic dyes.  Furthermore using vegetable dyes, further reduces the pollution output in the atmosphere and touts social responsibility for our ever-changing environment.

If  green clothing is a little expensive for you, then leave the niche boutiques and shop around for recycled clothing—this also helps reduce pollution by not filling our landfills with unwanted items!
